Upload an Extra Image File feature makes the questionnaire more interacting and engaging for your respondents by allowing them send you their own pictures.
This feature is available on request.
This guide will teach you:
1. Set up Add an extra image file
Underneath most question types, you can add a button asking respondents to upload an image to give extra information.
Here are a couple of examples of how you can use this feature:
- When you ask how if they liked the food you served, they can upload a picture to show what their plate looked like.
- When you ask which was their favorite part of the event, they can upload a picture to show why they liked it so much.
You can edit the image label text and add your own wording in the text box that appears when you turn this feature on.
2. Image Upload Question
However adding a picture can't be made mandatory. If you want to make it mandatory, you'll need to use an Image Upload question type and toggle the mandatory button.
What's next?
- Adding media to your questions, like a picture, video, GIF, or audio file will make your questionnaire more entertaining. Respondents will be more likely to go all the way to the end of your questionnaire if you include something besides just the plain text question and answers. It will lower the drop-out rate because there's a lower chance they'll get bored.
The Media Library feature allows you to save pictures that will be available for you to use in every survey or PDF in your account. Media Library is used to host these pictures on Pointerpro so you don't have to upload it anywhere else.
The zoom functionality allows your respondents to open your pictures in a separate pop-up, allow them to see them in more detail. This is especially useful if you have a lot of pictures displayed on the same page or if the regular picture limits are not sufficient to display the details.
