Use question types that support custom scoring to give a score to each answer, so that an overall score will be calculated at the end of the survey. Not all question types support this feature by default, however you can use formulas to add custom score to your forms, open ended and ranking inquiries.

Custom score is available for the following question types:
- 1.1 Number slider
- 1.2 Text slider
- 1.3 Text choice
- 1.4 Image choice

- 1.6 Radio button rating

1.1 Number slider
A Number slider displays the numbers on a scale form one side to another so respondents can decide which number they most closely relate to or agree with. Custom score will be automatically assigned based on the answer value.
1.2 Text Slider
A Text slider displays the statements on a scale from one side to another, so respondents can decide which statement they most closely relate to or agree with.
1.3 Text choice
Text choice is used when you ask a multiple choice inquiry and present the possible answers to your respondent.
1.4 Image choice
Use Image choice when you want to ask a multiple choice inquiry and present the possible answers to your respondent by using images or GIFs.
1.5 NPS
Use the Net Promoter Score (NPS) to measure the loyalty that exists between a provider and a consumer. Custom score will be automatically assigned based on the answer value.
1.6 Radio button rating
Use a radio button rating inquiry to allow your respondents to choose their answers between 0 and 10. Custom score will be automatically assigned based on the answer value.
1.7 Rating
Use a Rating question to ask a respondent to rate a product or service. Custom score will be automatically assigned based on the answer value.

2.1 Open ended
Use an Open-ended inquiry to see things from a respondent's perspective, as they give you feedback in their own words. To assign a custom score to specific words of your choice, first you have to create a formula with 0 value.
Then, at the Extra Options tab, go to Question logic, click +Create rule button and create your rule by selecting from the dropdown menu:

- Select your formula
- Write the number you would like to add to your formula
You can create as many rules as you want in order to include all the words that you would like to give a score to.
2.2 Form
Forms are mostly used for demographic inquiries, to ask for a name, last name, email etc. To give custom score to your forms, first you should create a formula with a 0 value.
Then at the Extra Options tab, go to Question logic, click +Create rule button and create your rule by selecting from the dropdown menu:

- Write the number you would like to add to your formula
2.3 Ranking
The Ranking inquiry provides the respondent with a list, made by you, which they can rank according to their liking or knowledge. To give a score to each ranking answer, you have first to create formulas. The first and lowest formula should be 0 and you will assign it to the answer you want to rank the lowest.
The second formula should be 1 and you will assign it to the second ranking answer.
The third formula, should be 2, and will be assigned to the answer with the highest rank.
Then you go back to your ranking question and you select from the dropdown menu, the correct formula for each answer.
You can add repeat this process and create as many formulas as needed to assign it to your ranking answers.
