Your subscription contains a number of report generations. In this guide, we'll go through all different types of downloads to explain how they count towards your limit.
Download links
In the Share tab of your report you'll find a few download links. These can be added to your questionnaires final screen, outcomes and email templates.
- Cacheable links will cause the report to be generated and cached. Subsequent clicks on the download link will not cause the report to be generated again. Therefore only the first click counts towards your limit. Cache is stored 3 months. After this the next click will count as another new download.
- Non-cacheable links aren't cached and thus are generated every time someone clicks the link. Because of this, every click counts towards your limit.
Downloads for the results dashboard
In the results dashboard, click on the Responses tab. If applicable, you'll see a download column.
Clicking on this download icon will allow you to trigger a new download for that response. These are always generated on demand and will thus count towards your limit.
Alternatively, you can also click the details icon to the right on the response. Then scroll down all the way to the bottom to see the download history. Here you'll also see a download icon, allowing you to download the cached version of that time. These downloads of cached reports will not count towards your limit, but they are only available for 3 months.
Lastly, you can also trigger a download from the Download menu, which you can open by clicking the Download button on the top right of the screen. Note that from all the options offered here, only the downloads labeled "Report PDF" will cause a new report to be generated and count towards your limit.
Downloads from the distribution portal
Downloads made from the Results screen in the distribution portal will automatically be cached if possible. To reach them, click on Individual results and then on the Download link in the last column. If there's multiple reports available, they can be selected in a slide-out window.
